Hello, I'm Alexandra Frost (prefer Alex), Director and Principal Clinical Psychologist at Attuned Psychology, an established group practice with locations in North Adelaide and Glenelg. I am experienced in working with adolescents, adults, couples, performers and the LGBTQIA+ community both face to face and online. I look forward to working with you in a way that respects your uniqueness, wisdom, vulnerability, courage, and creativity. In 26 + years, I’ve developed an approach that helps me deepen my knowledge and understanding of what shapes your mental health and relationships, always bringing authenticity and presence.

As a performer myself with research and clinical experience in performance and clinical psychology, I have a passion for working with creatives and performers bringing ACT mindfulness-based, somatic and systemic approaches to understanding the wonderful and complex life of a creative. I also provide workshops to support the psychology of performance.

In my opinion, the therapeutic relationship is the foundation of change.You’ll find that I bring empathy, honesty, compassion, genuine respect, along with a healthy dose of humour and directness when appopriate to our sessions. With 27 years as a Clinical Psychologist, I have also trained as a Family therapist completing the Graduate Diploma of Systemic Practice and Family Therapy, completed Gottman training Level 1 and Level 1 Sensorimotor Psychotherapy training. This brings breadth, depth and confidence to all therapy.
