As a mental health practitioner working with parents and young people, I am particularly interested in early intervention and well-being support. Accordingly, my services include child-centred play therapy, adolescent counselling, parent consulting, psychoeducation, perinatal counselling and outdoor therapy (e.g. walk & talk sessions for new mums). In my sessions, I aim to create a safe, non-judgmental and nurturing space where clients can comfortably explore issues, identify unhelpful patterns, be open to receiving support, learn new skills, and grow into their best selves.
Some of the issues I regularly work with include self-esteem, emotional regulation, anxiety, low mood, transitions, life changes and birth trauma. My practice is evidence based and trauma informed. I specialise in humanistic approaches (e.g. person-centred therapy, child-centred play therapy and sandtray work) and unconditional, relationship-based parenting.
