I have a special interest in helping people with psychological trauma (including PTSD/stress disorders), anxiety and depression, complex medical illnesses (e.g. type 1 diabetes) and issues related to spirituality or religion.
I am an experienced clinical psychologist who works with people in a down to earth and collegial way. My practice is informed by three therapeutic approaches: Internal Family Systems, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. These therapies help people safely heal from overwhelming or traumatic experiences.
I have special interest in Men's health, hence blokes tend to feel comfortable with me. Away from work, I enjoy hanging out with my family, bushwalking, reading and podcasts, playing sport and watching the mighty flying Hawks (well ‘once mighty’ I know!).
