My name is Ellie. I am a registered Counsellor and trained TRTP Practitioner and Vocal Performance Coach. I have a professional background working in the EAP and Critical incident response sector offering support for various corporate, government and law enforcement employees. I have a particular interest in supporting people harmed by narcissistic abuse and work place bullying as well as identifying recurring patterns in ones life. Many clients are presented with psychological and emotional symptoms of depression and anxiety disorders. These symptoms are usually a manifestations of underlying issues and unhappiness they may have been experiencing. They often sought help to get relief from such symptoms. In collaboration with the client, assessment and goal formulation, the underlying issues maybe identified and dealt with.

I have worked in a range of settings for over 15 years as a Clinical Psychologist and I am passionate and dedicated to provide you with care, compassion and individually tailored- therapy. I feel fortunate to have been able to provide care to my clients over the years. I use a range of evidence-based psychological therapies for Depression and Anxiety disorders, Trauma , Bipolar Disorder, Addictions, Work issues and Adjustment Disorders , Perfectionism and Eating Disorders. I am particularly passionate about teaching & assisting clients in areas concerning body image issues, weight management, dysfunctional & disordered eating.

Avrille Burrows is a Naarm (Melbourne) based South Asian Mental Health Clinician and Arts Therapist. She has worked for over 12 years with people from various backgrounds who have experienced trauma such as family violence, abuse, and loss. She understands how these can impact our relationships, confidence and the toll it can take on our physical body with symptoms such as headaches, pain, depression, anxiety and stress. As a migrant, woman of colour and mother, Avrille understands the complexities of navigating culture, identity, family dynamics, and raising children as a settler on this land.

I am a passionate, caring and dedicated European who loves helping others. I travel and engage with others with passion and am curious about the world and people. I have developed a reputation for an inquisitive and warm environment in the therapy room. I believe my good energy and genuine enthusiasm encourages people to learn about their mind and behaviour! I love working with kids, adolescents, and adults who have a strong desire to question and understand themselves in their own unique ways. I work collaboratively to develop an evidence-based treatment plan with my clients, empowering them to take control of their lives and goals

Maria has special interests in working with trauma, neurodivergence, personality disorders, rapid mood changes and anxiety. She is also particularly interested in conducting assessments, including assessing for ADHD, autism, specific learning disorders (colloquially known as dyslexia, dysgraphia and dyscalculia), and conducting cognitive, educational and vocational assessments. Maria has completed a Doctor of Clinical Psychology, therefore providing further competencies in multiple areas of psychological treatment and assessments across the lifespan.
