Healing Powers of Love
The heart of the matter is that it is the heart that matters.

A healthy heart is a happy heart. To achieve optimal heart health we are all aware that we must exercise, eat a healthy diet, and maintain a healthy lifestyle, but did you know that nourishing your emotional and spiritual heart is just as important as caring for your physical heart?
Several studies today show an interesting link between the heart and the brain. Our emotions create a chain reaction in the body, for example, when you feel anger or frustration your stress hormone levels increase causing your blood vessels to constrict and hence your blood pressure rises. If we constantly experience these strong stressful emotions we repeatedly put a strain on our heart and other organs, which can eventually lead to health problems. However, when our bodies experience warm heart-felt emotions such as love, compassion, care, and happiness the heart produces a very different rhythm.
The heart is indeed linked to our emotions and our health for overall well-being. To find out more on how to nourish your spiritual heart and live a happier healthier life, see Dr. Cynthia Thaik’s full text article, "Love Heals!" www.drcynthia.com/love-heals-2013-05-22/
