As a new year approaches so too does the Tim Tebow Foundation’s annual Night to Shine event. Held in February, Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience for individuals with cognitive or physical special needs ages 14 and older with no upper age limit. Honored guests are paired with age-appropriate volunteer buddies who assist them in navigating the event and ensure that they have an unforgettable night of dancing, karaoke, and activities that may vary by location such as limousine rides. There are also areas for caregivers to relax and enjoy the night.

Night to Shine is hosted by churches throughout the world and thousands of honored guests have participated in the past six years. With nearly 700 host churches participating worldwide; there may be a Night to Shine near you. Click here to find a host church near you and register.

Night to Shine is much more than an unforgettable experience for the honored guests. It brings communities together in a truly special way. Volunteers have an immensely rewarding volunteer experience while ensuring that the night is safe and fun for everyone. Winter is a difficult season for many people, but one night in February can be bright. Consider volunteering and spending a few hours to brighten your community by helping some wonderful people have a safe and fun night.
