Diane Solomon received a Bachelor of Arts from Reed College, Master of Science in Nursing from Yale as a Certified Nurse-Midwife, and PMHNP and Ph.D. from Oregon Health & Sciences University (OHSU). She is an adjunct professor at OHSU and has served as a leader on the Boards of Nurse Practitioners of Oregon, the Oregon Wellness Program, the Oregon Nurses Association, The Jewish Federation of Greater Portland, and many others. She is well-published on wellness and psychological well-being across lay and scholarly publications, from HuffPost to The Gerontologist; Lilith and Self to Psychotherapy Networker. She recently closed her psychiatry practice to pursue a writing certificate from Harvard Medical School focusing on mental health and wellness.

Dr. Solomon writes because she has always been compelled to create and connect in this way. Her goal is to reach and resonate with readers; leave them feeling validated and supported in their humanness; and inspired to grow in their way, in their lives.
