About

David T. Culkin, Ph.D., is a professional educator who has lived with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) throughout more than 28 years of marriage. He retired from the military and now works in leader development, having earned a doctorate in adult education from Kansas State University in 2016. Mindful of the challenges presented by OCD, his wife and he have committed themselves to each other and to never quit. They co-authored OCD and Marriage (2021) to support other families and to let them know they are not alone. They hope that sharing their story will inspire other couples and their therapists to improve their lives. They also deliver presentations on OCD experiences in their marriage.
