Judy Ho, Ph. D., ABPP, ABPdN, CFMHE, is a triple-board certified clinical and forensic neuropsychologist and tenured Associate Professor of Psychology at Pepperdine University. She is a board diplomate of the American Board of Professional Psychology, the American Board of Pediatric Neuropsychology, and the National Board of Forensic Evaluators. Her clinical experiences include working in inpatient psychiatric settings; outpatient hospitals and clinics; in forensic settings as a testing psychologist and expert witness in criminal and civil proceedings, and public schools and special education classrooms. She maintains a private practice where she conducts neuropsychological and forensic assessments.

Ho regularly appears on various television programs as an expert psychologist and is currently a co-host on the Emmy award-winning daytime talk show The Doctors. She is also the host of "Supercharged Life," a podcast that provides listeners with a scientifically driven, practical tip in each episode to help them improve their lives. She was a co-host on CBS's Face the Truth, and a regular contributor to various other television programs on multiple networks including CNN, HLN, ABC, NBC, Fox, Investigation Discovery, A & E, History Channel, and Bravo. She is also a recurring guest on various podcasts and radio shows and writes for multiple online periodicals including Psychology Today, Poosh, MindBodyGreen, and Well + Good. She pursues her media consultant work to provide information to the general public about psychological issues in daily life and quality mental health care, to reduce stigma towards mentally ill individuals, and to encourage people who need help to seek effective treatment.

Ho contributes clinical research manuscripts to national and international psychological journals and writes chapter contributions to mental health textbooks and research articles illuminating issues regarding mental health assessment and treatment for high-need youth and family populations. Ho’s book, “Stop Self-Sabotage,” details an evidence-based six-step program to achieving goals, was released on August 20, 2019 by HarperCollins.

Ho received her bachelor of arts degree in psychology and bachelor of science degree in business administration from UC Berkeley, and her master of sciences and Ph.D. from the San Diego State University, University of California San Diego Joint Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship at UCLA’s Neuropsychiatric Institute and is a two-time recipient of the National Institute of Mental Health’s National Research Services Award.
