Just type a word or short phrase into the search box and the search engine will look for all Psychology Today articles that include exactly that word phrase.

  • Search for articles that contain 2 words. For instance, entering child psychology will find articles that contain both child and psychology somewhere in the article.

  • Search for for articles that contain either child or psychology by using the | symbol.

  • Search for articles that contain two words next to each other by using quotations.

  • Search for articles that contain one word but no the other by entering a ~ in front of the word to be eliminated.
