Your relationship with your therapist is the most important aspect of treatment. I want to take this time to introduce myself and give you a bit of background information so you can feel confident in your choice of selecting White Oak Family Therapy for your counseling needs. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, & their families. My goal is to help you & your family reach your goals - whether that is developing coping skills, increasing communication, addressing mental health concerns, & beyond. I have experience working with suicidal ideation, anxiety, depression, life transitions, behavioral & parenting challenges.
My approach is client directed and meeting you where you and your family are in your journey to wellness. Does your child love art? Great! We can work on the goals outlined using an art based approach. More analytical? Also great! We can take a more direct, talk therapy approach.
We will start out by creating a trusting and safe space first and then build on that foundation to accomplish your goals. Please feel free to give me a call and I would be happy to answer any questions you may have!
