Tim Leberecht is a German-American author, entrepreneur, and a passionate voice for a human future of work. His most recent TED talk, “4 Ways to Build a Human Company in the Age of Machines” (2016), has already been viewed by more than 1.5 million people. Tim’s book, THE BUSINESS ROMANTIC (HarperCollins, 2015), was an international bestseller and has been translated into nine languages to date. He is the co-founder and co-CEO of the House of Beautiful Business, a global think tank and community to make humans more humand and business more beautiful. Previously, Tim served as the CMO of NBBJ, a global design and architecture firm. From 2006 to 2013, he was the CMO of the product design and innovation consultancy Frog Design. Tim’s writing appears in publications such as Harvard Business Review, Fast Company, Forbes, Fortune, Inc., Psychology Today, and Wired. He has spoken at venues including DLD, The Economist, SXSW, and Thinking Digital. Tim served on the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on Values from 2011-2016. He is the co-founder and co-curator of the dinner series 15 Toasts. After 15 years in Los Angeles and San Francisco, Tim now lives in Berlin with his wife and daughter.
