About

After earning a BA in economics from Northwestern University and an MBA in finance from University of Michigan, Norman Li worked in securities trading and investment consulting and taught finance and economics in Chicago. Seeking to apply similar analytical tools to the study of human behavior and attraction, he went to Arizona State University to earn a PhD in social psychology under social/evolutionary psychologist Douglas Kenrick. Dr. Li then became an assistant professor in Individual Differences and Evolutionary Psychology in 2003 at the University of Texas before journeying to Singapore Management University in 2008.
