Mohammad Atari completed his Ph.D. in the Department of Psychology at the University of Southern California, and is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard University. His broad research interest is why and how morality binds people together, but also blinds them into ‘‘us’’ vs. ‘‘them.’’ His current research examines moral values and cultural change, taking a cultural evolutionary perspective, using a collection of methodological approaches, including social psychological experimentation and Natural Language Processing (NLP).
