John Kaag Ph.D.

John Kaag, Ph.D., is the Donohue Professor of the Arts at UMass Lowell and an External Professor at the Santa Fe Institute. He is the author of American Philosophy (An NPR Best Book and NYT Editor Choice) and Hiking with Nietzsche (an NPR Best Book), and most recently Sick Souls, Healthy Minds (a PROSE Award Finalist). He lives in Concord, Mass. with his wife, Kathleen, and their two kids.
