Valentines Day - A Celebration of The Healing Power of Love

Valentines day - A day recognized as the celebration of love ...

Welcome to Valentines day - A day we recognize as the celebration of love as passion and romance!

And Passion is good - it fuels the soul. Do you remember your first Kiss?

The symbol of Love in our culture is the Heart. The big red Valentine's Day Heart in Celebration of Love!

In energy and physiology, The Heart Center Vibrates with passion, compassion, and Forgiveness. In spiritual terms, Love is Divine Power, endless in supply, in fact the more you give, the loving you become with more and more love to give.

In practical terms, the heart moves us into action that the intellect does not always understand; actions that are of unselfish intention, intention that doesn't act for our own gain, but to merely be of service. No ego payoff.

Many of us play, run, sing, or paint - simply for the love of the game or for love of creation. We understand the joy is in the doing, the joy in the being of it all...

In my world, the world of health and injury, and disease I see compassionate caring and healing on a daily basis. Sound exciting? Let me show you... it looks like this...

Holding a hand that cannot hold...
Picking out clothes by description of garments hanging in a closet...
Pulling a 15 pound Arm through a shirt sleeve...
Teaching one handed buttons...
Holding a teaspoon of gruel-thickened oatmeal waiting for a cough to clear...

Not sexy at all, but it is the fabric of life in the deeds we are doing, just like when you were young and you were the child who needed a shoulder to cry upon, a hand to hold, a door to come home through after suffering the diasappointments in the world of competition.

Home is where the heart is, home...welcome home...back to a love that forgives...no matter what.

Forgive yourself. Forgive them. Release emotional pain and our physiological thermostat will be reset allowing our bodies to heal by the power of love.
