Healing the Soul of America

Healing the Soul of America

Spirituality is pervasive within our life - it becomes a way of being in the world and eventually gets applied to everything we are about.

I look at the pristine white beaches of Destin an innocent Gulf Coast and I see black spots. The imagery of black spots on a pristine beach
reminds me of that naive child who once believed in a pure white soul that had been tarnished by the black mark of sin - sin, a black mark on a pristine
soul, a soul that I believed to be an organ very near my heart. My heart aches for the Soul of America as the black mark of sin on her shores tells
us we have moved away from right - for sin is derived from sinister, or left, or one hundred and eighty degrees from right. But, in the evolving spirit,
redemption follows sin.

I look at the pristine white beaches of Destin an innocent Gulf Coast with optimsim as I see black spots of opportunity.

"For there is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so " Shakespeare's Hamlet - And the tradegy of an oil spill can lead to the triumph
of redemption for a nation whose soul aches.

Healing the Soul of America begins with the intention to help followed by action - a certain critical mass of people with high consciousness will
bring about a subtle change benefitting the whole population. We each have a responsibility to take part in positive creative activity to work to heal ourselves, each other, and the planet. It begins with optimistic thought, followed by difficult choice guided by the wisdom of stewardship.

An evolving America will only be able to restore its natural resources and beauty when we stop trying to assign blame and escape from the cardinal rule of an empowered spirit - responsiblity: personal and colletively.

Now is the time to support a solution that ends the cycle. Yes, specifically look at the particular details of oil exploration, availability of practical fuel resources and examine the process knowing however that we as a people contribute to the desire for oil, gas and fuel and where there is desire , a business plan is sure to follow.

There is much to learn about the process and we need sharp minds with altruistic motives; motives other than self gain and profit to assist us to script a plan that works. Some industries and businesses are upstanding and some are not. Supporting those that are; avoiding those that are not is like trying to unmask the wolf in sheep's clothing.

An evolving America knows that when she creates desire she creates the perception of need or want or lack- and now there is a desire for change; a new intention to steward the land of a planet we cohabit a context change that has the potential to heal the soul of a great nation. We must find and support a solution that offers stewardship.

The time has come for America's consciousness to focus on the positive, on the opprotunity presented by the tragedy ,and reality will start shifting and materializing the positive intentions and apsect of life - Healing the Soul of America.
